The eagerly anticipated Warwick Folk festival takes place from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th July and will see bands and solo artists including Show of Hands and The Unthanks taking to the streets, pubs, bars and schools of Warwick for what promises to be another fantastic weekend of music. Whilst you’re visiting, don’t forget to pop along to Warwick’s hidden shopping gem Smith Street, which is packed with wonderful and unusual independent shops and is itself having its own Mini Festival in the form of a street party. Another weekend highlight is the Knights Tournament at Kenilworth Castle which takes place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July with medieval reenactments of bloody battles and a living history encampment in the castle grounds – full details are available at http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/whats-on/knights-tournament-Keni-23-07-2016/
