” Big modern house in an excellent location. The house was ideal for our family reunion and the location was ideal too. There were lovely walks around the house plus Stratford upon Avon was on the doorstep. We were greeted with a generous welcome pack and we hope to have future reunions in the same property.(Guest review posted on TripAdvisor April 2019)”-LINDA, WELWYN, HERTS
“This property exceeded our already high expectations and is ideal for a large family or group of friends wanting to explore the local area. The stop for the bus into Stratford town centre was very near the house so we didn’t have to use the cars much and this was a real bonus. The house itself was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend staying at Wheatsheaf House.”-LIZ WOOD & FAMILY, FAREHAM, HANTS
“Wheatsheaf House was perfect for our needs. It was very clean, had plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, was nicely furnished and very warm. Its location not far from the town & a supermarket made staying there easy. The off street parking was much appreciated. Wine & chocolates were a really nice welcome.”-ANNE YOUNG, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

“We have just returned from a fantastic stay at this lovely house. We are a family group of 5 adults, three children (aged 8 to 13 years) and 2 dogs, and there was ample room for us all. The house is very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It is conveniently located close to 2 parks, shops and bus routes, and 10 minutes drive from Stratford Upon Avon. We really appreciated the lots of little extras and attention to detail provided, ranging from the personalised welcome card, wine, chocolates, sweets and dog treats to the provision of dishwasher tablets, bin bags, loo rolls etc. The house and amenities were as described and of a very high standard. Just be aware that it’s on a busy main road, and there is some traffic noise, although it didnt worry us at all. Would definitely recommend this property. We loved it and will very likely return. “”Large Lovely and comfortable house in a fantastic location” – Wheatsheaf House was perfect for our family get-together. It’s a new build house so really well equipped with everything we needed. All the bedrooms are a really good size and there’s a large lounge and kitchen diner with seating for 8 (we have stayed in big houses before that don’t have enough dining chairs for the number of occupants!!) There’s plenty of space to spread out and two bathrooms and three toilets (which was great with such a large group). It is easy to get into Stratford-upon-Avon from the house either on foot (about 20 minutes) or on one of the frequent buses passing along the main road – we noticed that Stratford Parkway train station is also really close offering trains into Stratford town. There are a number of supermarkets nearby (Aldi, 24 hr Tesco) and a shopping centre. You can also get to all the famous tourist attractions really easily – there is. We visited the Stratford Butterfly Farm, Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Ann Hathaway’s Cottage and also drove to Broadway in the Cotswolds which is gorgeous. There’s SO much to do in this area that you won’t be able to squeeze it all into one trip. Fab!! (Review originally left on TripAdvisor 03/02/18)”-NICKY WILLIAMS, BARNSTAPLE, DEVON
“This house is in a great spot for Stratford and surrounding areas. It’s really big so plenty of room for two families sharing, large lounge with enough seating for everyone and all the bedrooms are double sized (so no one gets stuck with a boxroom!) A great base from which to explore this fascinating area.”-MEL & PHIL, WEST MIDLANDS
