Midland Air Festival at Ragley Hall
May 29 @ 4:00 pm - May 31 @ 9:30 pm
The Midlands Air Festival returns for a third year of excellent family fun!
This spectacular aviation event will once again consist of Friday Nightfire, Weekend Air Displays and Hot Air Balloon Launches! Plus there will be great trade stands, childrens rides and more entertainment than ever before!
Not only will there be more exhibitors than ever before to peruse, as well as various ground entertainments, there will be the addition of huge character kits in the form of various different animals plus the introduction of model aircraft displays to go with our model balloon displays throughout the weekend to add that all important variety to a relaxing day of entertainment!
We are delighted to be back in the beautiful surroundings of the historic Ragley Hall Estate and our sincere thanks are extended to The Most Honourable Henry Seymour the 9th Marques of Hertford and family for making this possible.
Ragley Hall itself was built as a private residence around 1780 but saw service in WW2 as a military hospital.
After the war it was slowly restored and reopened again in 1958.
This magnificent Palladian style house was designed by Robert Hooke, a contemporary of Sir Christopher Wren and remains the only one of the houses he created still standing today.
