Roman Celebration

Saturday 11th June 10:30 – 4:30

Roman Alcester comes alive! A special programme of Roman themed activities for all the family, including support from Roman re-enactment groups and our own Roman Centurion.  From 11am you are invited to bring along your garden ‘finds’ to be examined by a Warwickshire Museums expert – they can be of any age, but we certainly hope some may be found to be from the Roman period.

• Make a shield

• Learn how to spin wool

• Make some jewellery

• Don’t forget to wear your tunic or toga!
